Dita Von Teese to divorce Marilyn Manson

Dita Von Teese is reportedly set to serve husband Marilyn Manson with divorce papers today after just one year of marriage.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Dita filed the papers just before Christmas, citing “irreconcilable differences”, but has been unable to get in touch with him to deliver the news.

A friend told the newspaper: “He’s not been responsive. She loved him so much, but he has too many demons.”

“He can’t even communicate with her at this point. She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can’t even get him on the phone. She moved out of the house and he hasn’t even noticed.”

“She really tried to make this work.”

The couple married in Ireland in December 2005 after dating for seven years.

Are Dita and Manson really spliting?
It very well could be. But some facts don't sit well with me like, they where together for about 6 years before tying the not. It isn't like they just met in some bar and got married, she knew what she was getting into when marrying him. All the articles say that she is leaving him because he is (basically) a drunk with a lot of personal problems. And he was spending a lot of time away at the studio and didn't even notice her missing. She knew he was a busy man when they married and they both are career people. He was even on tour (twice?) throughout their relationship before they got married.

I have three theories on this latest rumor.

1.) It is a fake.

2.) Dita only married him for the fame she might get from doing so.

3.) Dita married him and then divorced him because she had enough with him, maybe the drinking was the straw that broke the camels back?

Maybe this is just because I don't want to believe this but I don't think they are getting a divorce. Or maybe they are and the facts aren't strait.
